The line-up also includes three German co-productions. First up is Austrian director Michael Glawogger’s psychedelic road movie Contact High [+see also:

film profile], which traces the eventful journey of five characters travelling between Vienna and Poland.
Co-produced by Vienna’s Lotus-Film and Berlin’s Boje Buck Produktion, the film stars actor-director-producer Detlev Buck, Georg Friedrich (Import/Export [+see also:

film profile]) and Michael Ostrowski. Distribution is being handled by Delphi.
Movienet is launching René Bo Hansen’s German/Swedish adventure film The Eagle Hunter’s Son [+see also:

film profile], set in Mongolia; while Kairos is releasing King Ampaw’s German/Ghanaian comedy The Last Respect, in which a young gravedigger has difficulty finding a girlfriend on account of his job.
Finally, Europe is also represented on the line-up by Hormoz Borbor’s French film I Dreamt Under the Water. Distributed by Pro-Fun, this debut work centres on a young man who is looking for love, caught between drugs, prostitution, homo- and heterosexuality.
