film profile] is being presented in international competition at the 44th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (July 3-11).
This creative documentary screened in world première at the start of the year at the Rotterdam Film Festival as part of a retrospective of the director’s unusual work. It was also selected at Switzerland’s Visions du Réel Festival, Toronto’s Hot Docs and La Rochelle International Film Festival (France).
The Sound of Insects: Record of a Mummy traces the disturbing story of a man who has decided to withdraw from the world and fast.
