Alessandro Gassman and Monica Bellucci will present veteran Italian film director, Dino Risi with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Golden Lion on 1 September at 18.15.
This is an important date in Gassman Jr.’s calendar because it would have been the 80th birthday of his father Vittorio, the star of many of Dino Risi’s most famous films including Il Sorpasso, the film chosen by the organisers of the Venice tribute to Risi. The screening is scheduled for the morning of 1st September.
