Cannes entries triumph at Sarajevo

, by Greece's Yorgos Lanthimos, won Special Jury prize, while its stars Aggeliki Papoulia and Mary Tsoni shared the Best Actress award.

The jury was presided by Serbian actress Mirjana Karanovic, and included Anamaria Marinca, Christian Jeune, Wieland Speck and Benedek Flieglauf.

Best short film went to Dalibor Matanic's Party (Croatia), while Ciao Mama by Goran Odvorcic of Croatia and The History of Aviation by Balint Kenyeres of Hungary got special mentions.

Serbia's Dragan Nikolic picked up Best Documentary for Caviar Connection and the special mention went to Romanian title Constantin and Elena by Andrei Dascalescu. Serbia's Marko Mamuzic won the Human Rights Award for Heated Blood.

Sarajevo's co-production market CineLink gave out awards for best projects, provided by its partners. Bosnia's Srdjan Vuletic received €10,000 from the Goteborg Film Fund for The Scab Huseyin Karabey of Turkey got the same amount from the National Film Centre (CNC) for Come to My Voice, and the ARTE International Relations prize of €6,000 went to Bosnia's Timur Makarevic for The Key. All three projects will also receive €2,500 each for post-production from Synchro Film and Video Vienna.

The newly established Work In Progress award worth €80,000 in post-production services at Berlin's The Post Republic went to Romanian director Florin Serban's When I Whistle I Whistle.
