The jury at this major documentary event in Asia praised the Swiss director’s “persuasive stance”.

The Fortress has already won six important awards, including the Golden Leopard at Locarno, the Grand Prize at the Tehran and Montreal festivals, and the Audience Award at Florence. So far, it has drawn 50,000 viewers in Swiss theatres.
