SND shows off Franco-Italian assets at AFM
International seller SND has an enticing slate and intends to finish the season with a flourish at the American Film Market, which kicked off yesterday and will close on November 11.
The team headed by Lionel Uzan will show two Italian features: Giuseppe Capotondi’s Venice award-winner The Double Hour [+see also:

Two French features are being sold on the basis of the screenplay: Fabienne Berthaud’s Lily Sometimes (see news), starring German actress Diane Kruger and Ludivine Sagnier; and Olivier Abbou’s horror thriller Territories.
Helmed by Paris-based companies Capture [The Flag] Films (whose filmography includes The Horde [+see also:

SND is also hoping for success with four other Gallic titles currently in post-production, for which promo-reels will be presented: Cédric Anger’s thriller The Counsel (see news), whose cast includes Benoît Magimel, Gilbert Melki, Aïssa Maïga and Eric Caravaca; Renaud Bertrand’s romantic drama Just the 3 of Us (see news), starring Emmanuelle Béart, Jacques Gamblin and Italian actor Stefano Accorsi; Hugues Martin’s supernatural thriller Stranded (see news); and, finally, François Favrat’s Bitter Victory (see news), which stars Clovis Cornillac, Christian Clavier and Sami Bouajila and will be launched in French theatres by Mars Distribution on December 2.
