film profile]) in official competition at the Los Angeles AFI Fest, which closed last Saturday.
The film, produced by Avalon PC and Lolita Films, was also presented at the latest San Sebastian Film Festival (see news), where it picked up the Silver Shell for Best Director.
It stars Carmen Machi as a woman who, during the course of a night, escapes and leaves behind her life as a housewife (see news).
Woman Without Piano will be released in Spain on December 18 by Avalon.
