(“Loose Cannons”) will screen out of competition at the upcoming Berlinale (February 11-21). The film, starring Riccardo Scamarcio, Nicole Grimaudo and Alessandro Preziosi, marks the director’s return to comedy and is the story of an eccentric family of pasta makers in Apulia (see news).

Written by Ozpetek and Ivan Cotroneo and produced by Fandango in collaboration with RAI Cinema and support from the Apulia Film Commission, Mine Vvaganti will be distributed domestically by 01 Distribution on March 12.

– starring Edoardo Gabbriellini as a young cook, Tilda Swinton and Alba Rohrwacher – will also be at Berlinal, in the Culinary Cinema section, which this year will be called "In the Food for Love" (see article on film).

Presented at the Venice Film Festival, the film produced by First Sun, Mikado and RAI Cinema was also selected for this year’s Sundance Festival, in the Spotlight sidebar. I Am Love has so far sold to 18 countries, including the US. It will be arrive in Italian cinemas on March 19.
