Sundance honours Frei’s Space Tourists
Swiss director Christian Frei picked up the World Cinema Directing Award for Space Tourists [+see also:

film profile], which was presented in the international documentary competition at the 26th Sundance Film Festival.
The film shows multimillionaires who dream of conquering space and pay a fortune to go there, while poor people recycle rocket debris in Kazakhstan.
Frei is the acclaimed director of the documentary War Photographer, which was released in numerous countries and traces the footsteps of photo-reporter James Nachtwey, and The Giant Buddhas.
