Exit Through the Gift Shop completes selection

The official selection for the 60th Berlinale is now complete, with 26 films, including 20 in competition, from 18 countries.

Besides the titles announced in December (see news) and January (see news), a UK documentary will screen out of competition: Exit Through the Gift Shop, the debut film by street artist Banksy. According to the latter, it focuses on "a man who is trying to make a film about me".

The full Berlinale line-up is now available on the festival website.

The organisers have also announced that to commemorate the recent death of Eric Rohmer, Berlinale Special will present Pauline at the Beach (Silver Bear for Best Director in 1983) as a tribute to the director’s work and four appearances in competition.
