film profile] (see news) dominates the awards list at the 41st Hungarian Film Week, which was unveiled yesterday evening in Budapest.

The film, which will now head to the Berlinale Forum, also won Best Cinematography (for DoP Andras Nagy).

Exploring the dark side of immigration from Eastern to Western Europe, Bibliothèque Pascal stars Orsolya Török-Illyés and Romanian actors Oana Pellea, Razvan Vasilescu and Andi Vasluianu. Produced by Katapult Film and FilmPartners, the title received co-production support from German company Gilles Mann Filmproduktion and Hungary’s Sparks Kft., M&M Film and MTM-SBS Televízió ZRt. (TV2), as well as backing from Eurimages, the Motion Picture Public Foundation of Hungary (MMKA), the Hungarian Culture Ministry and the Nemzeti Kulturális Alap fund.

Hungarian Film Week 2010 also crowned András Vágvölgyi B.’s Colorado Kid [+see also:

Best Director was awarded ex-æquo to Róbert Pejo for The Camera Murderer and Zsombor Dyga for Question in Details. The latter also took home Best Actor (Ferenc Elek) and Best Editing (Judt Czako).

Réka Almási’s Team Building picked up Best Debut Film and garnered reflected glory with Best Producer going to Ferenc Pusztai of KMH Film (who also produced Czukor Show).

Finally, Best Actress was presented to Eva Vica Kerekes (Out/In Tawaret) and Best Screenplay to József Pacskovszky (The Days of Desire, which also received Best Sound), while Diana Groó’s Vespa (see news) won two honours: a Special Prize for actor Sandor Toth and Best Score.
