On the first day of the European Film Market, Rikke Ennis, CEO of Copenhagen-based TrustNordisk, and her sales team are preparing for a very busy market. The company has two high-profile titles in official competition – A Somewhat Gentle Man [+see also:

Six years after his English-language competition entry The Beautiful Country, Moland is back in competition with a black comedy starring Stellan Skarsgård as an ex-con trying to figure out if he should reconcile with his family or take revenge on those who turned him in. Moland and his stars will walk the red carpet of the Berlinale Palast on Monday night for the official screening.

Four days later, young filmmaker Fischer Christensen will be in the limelight. Her first competition entry, A Soap [+see also:

, brought her critical acclaim in 2006 and won the Silver Bear and Best Debut award. She will try to bring more Bears home with her third film, A Family.

Birger Larsen’s Superbrother by will have its first screening on Monday. The film just won a Robert award for Best Children and Youth Film.

TrustNordisk will have private market screenings of Balls, the new Swedish comedy by Josef Fares – out this Friday in Sweden – as well as the Swedish thriller Easy Money [+see also:

by Daniel Espinosa, one of the hottest titles at the recent Nordic Film Market in Göteborg.

The sales company will continue negotiating deals on the German thriller This is Love [+see also:

by Matthias Glasner, launched at the latest San Sebastian Film Festival, and will introduce promo reels of two high-profile projects: Last Word by David Mackenzie, starring Ewan MacGregor and Eva Green, and Revenge, Susanne Bier’s new Danish film, set to open domestically in August.
