The first is an outrageous comedy directed by Miguel Angel Lamata and starring some of the most popular faces on television, including Norma Ruiz, Pilar Rubio, Salomé Jiménez, Miguel Angel Muñoz, Fele Martínez, Santiago Segura and Amaia Salamanca (see news). The film, which will be released by Paramount Pictures Spain on 250 screens, hopes to repeat the success enjoyed last year by Brain Drain [+see also:

Meanwhile, Oskar Santos’s debut feature, For the Good of Others, which was presented at the latest Berlinale (see news), is a thriller with supernatural overtones. The film’s main attractions are its stylish visuals, Daniel Sánchez Arévalo’s complex script and the fact it was produced by Alejandro Amenábar. Alta Classics is launching the title in Spain on almost 260 screens.
