Paramount Spain to release Medem’s latest on May 7
San Sebastian-born director Julio Medem’s new film, Room in Rome, will be released in Spain on May 7 by Paramount Spain International seller, French company Wild Bunch, has sold the rights to over 20 territories across the world (see news).
This highly erotic, English-language drama was shot in the Italian capital and Madrid (see news). It will have its world premiere at the closing of the forthcoming Malaga Film Festival, which will run from April 17-24.
The Spanish arm of US major Paramount thus confirms its focus on Spanish films, which have become one of the mainstays of its distribution sector, as shown by the recent launch of Cell 211 [+see also:
