, presented in avant-premiere in the Special Screenings section at the latest Berlinale and released on German screens on March 4, Jo Baier is working on his next project. It’s an adaptation of journalist Tiziano Terzani and Folco Terzani’s best-selling book The End Is My Beginning, a posthumously published testimony from father to son.

Tiziano was a reporter in Southeast Asia for Der Spiegel and Corriere della Sera before retiring to a hut in Tuscany from 1990 until his death in 2004. His memoirs have been adapted for the big screen by Folco Tiziano and producer Ulrich Limmer (Schtonk!, The Hairdresser [+see also:

). Bruno Ganz and Elio Germano will play the roles of father and son, respectively.
