The Apulia region is rich in extraordinary locations and resources for film production and since 2007 the Apulia Film Commission has been promoting these qualities throughout the world. With the opening of the Bari and Lecce Cineports, the range of services is even greater with facilities, funding and areas aimed towards cinema and dedicated to the needs of productions, maestros and artists.

The Lecce Cineporto is located within the ex-Knos factory complex. It features ample office space for film and audiovisual production companies with wi-fi internet connection, telephone and fax lines, casting studios, make-up and hairdressing rooms, a costume department, a scenery deposit, extensive parking, a bar and exhibition areas.

The Bari Cineporto, located within the Fiera del Levante trade fair complex, boasts 1,200m² of space in which production companies can make use of comfortable offices with wi-fi connection, telephone and fax lines, casting studios, costume, make-up and hairdressing rooms, a scenery deposit and laboratory, a bar and restaurant and parking for production vehicles. The Cineporto is also equipped with a full HD digital cinema featuring a Dolby Surround system, interpreting booth, remote video direction and a conference area.

The Bari Cineporto also hosts the head offices of the Apulia Film Commission.

With its areas open to the public, the Bari and Lecce Cineports have become a new point of reference for hosting exhibitions, events and live music.
