Neshat and Akin presidents of Horizons and Opera Prima

Iranian artist-director Shirin Neshat and German director of Turkish descent Fatih Akin will be the presidents at the 2010 Venice Film Festival (September 1-11) of the Horizons and Lion of the Future Awards juries, respectively.
Neshat won the Silver Lion at last year’s Venice fest for her feature debut Women Without Men. Akin is one of the major talents of European cinema and last year won the Special Jury Prize at Venice for Soul Kitchen [+see also:
