Germano dedicates Best Actor win to “Italians who are better than their ruling class"

, when asked about the jury’s inclinations. And victory has arrived, in the form of a Best Actor Award, split with the extraordinary Spanish thespian, perhaps the most sought-after European actor of the moment.

The jury led by Tim Burton applauded Germano’s performance, directed by Daniele Luchetti, as a young construction worker and widower trying to raise three young sons. Said Germano: "I dedicate this prize to Italians, who are better than their ruling class".
