In the Spanish city of Alicante, shooting started on Monday on Die Farbe des Ozeans by Maggie Peren (Special Escort). Filming will then continue in Gran Canaria and wrap up on July 20.

Scripted by the director, the film centres on an encounter on this sunny island between a German couple on holiday and two African immigrants, a father and son, whose clandestine boat has run aground on the beach. First of all, they merely ask the young woman for some water, but after their arrest, against her husband’s wishes, she decides to help them.
