Three days for Slovak cinema

International film distributors and TV buyers will have a unique opportunity to learn more about Slovak cinema at the Art Film Fest, currently running in Trenčín and Trenčianske Teplice.
Slovak Season Days, an initiative of the Slovak Audiovisual Producers' Association, Film Europe Agency and Art Film Fest with the support of the Slovak Audiovisual Fund, focuses on the promotion of Slovak films on the international market.
Selected international industry professionals are invited to a showcase of the latest Slovak productions June 23-26. Screenings will take place at the Cinemax multiplex in Trenčín and will feature presentations of Broken Promise, Soul at Peace, My Husband's Women, Heaven, Hell ... Earth, Blind Loves [+see also:
film profile], Music and Mosquitoes' Tango. More Slovak films will be available on DVD in the Showroom, of the Hotel Praha in Trenčianske Teplice.
June 25 will see a round-table discussion on distribution of Eastern European films. Foreign representatives of various distribution platforms will discuss the possibilities of films and audivisual projects from Slovakia and elsewhere in Eastern Europe to find distribution and otherwise travel abroad. The discussion will take place at 16:30 in the Kursalon in Trenčianske Teplice.
