Mads Mikkelsen honoured in Munich

Danish star actor Mads Mikkelsen will receive a CineMerit Award at the Munich Film Festival, which opens today and closes on July 3.

The CineMerit Award is given to outstanding personalities in the international film community for their extraordinary contributions to motion pictures as an art form. Two of Mikkelsen’s films will screen at the festival: German thriller The Door [+see also:
