A handful of titles in sunny summer line-up
Today’s line-up of new releases (six in total) is as meagre as the sun is bright. However, Zorro is launching a film eagerly awaited by audiences, Dietrich Brüggemann’s Run If You Can [+see also:

It tells the story of two friends, wheelchair-bound Ben (Robert Gwisdek, son of actors Corinna Harfouch and Michael Gwisdek; accoladed for this role at Ludwigshafen), and Christian (Jacob Matschenz, who appeared in The Wave [+see also:

Their life changes with the arrival of cellist Annika (Anna Brüggemann, the director’s sister and co-screenwriter), whom Ben watches from his window as she passes by on her bike every day. The duo soon turns into a trio, then a love triangle. Run If You Can was produced by Wüste Film Ost.
Concorde is hoping to end July on a high note, with Radu Mihaileanu’s acclaimed European co-production The Concert [+see also:

Rapid Eye is releasing Stascha Bader’s Swiss/Canadian documentary Rocksteady: The Roots of Reggae, about the band’s reunion after 40 years.
Finally, Warner is launching US/UK co-production Inception. The line-up is completed by Toy Story 3 (Walt Disney).
