Written by Mieke de Jong, Tony Ten is at first the story of a happy family: Tony (ten or nearly ten) is surrounded by loving and professionally-fulfilled parents whom he admires. Everything changes when the queen appoints his father minister: Tony hardly sees him anymore, his parents’ marriage falls apart and his father ends up finding himself a new girlfriend. The boy is prepared to do anything to get his parents back together, even asking the queen for help.

The lead roles are filled by Dutch actors: young Tony is played by Faas Wijn, his father by Jeroen Spitzenberger, his mother by Rifka Lodeizen and the queen by Annet Malherbe.

Kamp’s new film is expected to be released next year by Independent in Benelux and Farbfilm in Germany.
