The winner of the Venice Film Festival’s Critics Week sidebar and the Foreign Press Award at the recent Filmfest Hamburg, has been picked up for Italy (Sacher Distribuzione), Germany (NFP), Benelux (Lumière), Australia (Rialto) and Israel (New Cinema).
Beyond was produced by Helena Danielsson (Hepp Film) and Ralf Karlsson (Drakfilm) in co-production with Denmark’s Kamoli Films and Finland’s Blind Spot Pictures. Nordisk Film will release it domestically on December 10 while NFP plans to release it in Germany in March 2011.
