MedFilmFest crowns Miraz Bez’s Children

The international jury of the 16th MedFilmFestival has presented its Amore e Psiche Award to Miraz Bezar’s The Children of Diyarbakir, (Turkey/Germany), while a Special Mention went to Tony Gatlif’s Korkoro - Freedom [+see also:

The Documentary Competition was won by Sebastian Brameshuber’s Müezzin (Austria/Turkey). Best Short Film went to Davide Del Degan’s Habibi (Italy).

The New Talent Award was given to Spanish director Daniel Monzón while Lebanese journalist Jocelyne Saab was presented with a Career Award.
