Berlin French Film Week turns 10

In Berlin today, the 10th French Film Week will open with a screening of Bruno Chiche’s Small World, starring Alexandra Maria Lara (the event’s patron), Gérard Depardieu, Françoise Fabian, Niels Arestrup and Nathalie Baye.

Ten films will have their Berlin premiere in the three Yorck group movie theatres hosting the event (Cinéma Paris, Filmtheater am Friedrichshain and, for the first time this year, Passage Kino, in the Neukölln area). Other titles include Mathieu Amalric’s Cannes award-winner On Tour [+see also:

French Film Week is an initiative by the French Embassy and the French Institute in Germany, in collaboration with the Yorck group, Unifrance and a series of media and commercial partners.
