- Themed screenings for European Film Heritage Week in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hannover e Marburg

In the context of Cined@ys 2002, a series of thematic screenings have been organised in a number of German cities.
Berlin will host a retrospective entitled Children in Wartime that includes films by Rossellini like Roma Città aperta, Paisa and Germania anno zero; Tarkovski’s Idi I smotri and Yves Robert’s La guerre des boutons.
Düsseldorf will pay tribute to Louis Bunuel with a complete retrospective of his films, that includes Viridiana, Tristana, Un chien andalou and Le charme discret de la bourgeoisie.
Hanover is staging Young people living in difficult times that includes Agnes Varda’s Ni toit ni loi by Agnes Varda, Paysage dans le brouillard by Theo Angelopoulos and Tarkovski’s L’enfance d’Ivan.
The Marburg programme will feature the works of major European directors such as Truffaut’s Jules and Jim, Visconti’s Death in Venice, Godard’s Le mépris and Bergman’s Wild strawberries.
