New CEO at Medusa Film
- Giampaolo Letta succeeds Federico di Chio as CEO of Italy's Number One film distributor, Medusa Film
Federico di Chio resigned as CEO of Medusa and will return to a “new important job” in Mediaset. His successor is Giampaolo Letta, currently deputy-president of Italy’s number one theatrical distributor and producer, position he intends maintaining. Claudio Sposito, the president of Medusa and DG of umbrella company Fininvest said, “This is a sign of continuity and ulterior confirmation of the strength of the project created by the late Carlo Bernasconi. Working together, Di Chio and Letta continued the work Bernasconi began and implemented the strategies in an intelligent and winning way.” Today Medusa Film has a 20 per cent quota of the Italian market. Giampaolo Letta joined Medusa in 1999 as director of communications.
