09/12/2002 - Denmark's youngest citizens can now learn everything they need to know about filmmaking at the all-new FILM-X Studios

Denmark’s youngest generation has got a brand-new film studio. FILM-X is a unique pioneer project that was set up by the Danish Film Institute with donations from the Egmont Foundation and the Nordic Film Fund in order to familiarise Danish, and indeed European children with the filmmaking process. FILM-X is a complex filmmaking environment with film, sound and animation studios as well as workshops all interconnected by means of digital technology where children will work together in groups as director, photographer, actor, etc. making their own movies and then editing them onto CDs to take home.
