19/12/2002 - His German best-selling autobiography, “Nichts als die Wahrheit” (Nothing but the truth), to become a movie scheduled to go into production in the Spring

Constantin Films have announced their intention to produce a film based on pop singer Dieter Bohlen best-selling autobiography “Nichts als die Wahrheit” (Nothing but the truth). The book shot to the top of the non-fiction league table in German and has sold 500,000 copies to date. Talks are still underway although contracts are likely to be signed next week and the film should be released in the spring of 2003. Last year Constantin Films had a major hit with the Western parody entitled Der Schuh des Manitu (Manitou’s Shoe) and market research shows that the Bohlen’ story could attract a potential audience of 6.8 million.
