Salvatores in competition

The latest breaking news in the film world is that Gabriele Salvatores’ latest film, Io non ho paura was selected for competition at the forthcoming Berlin Film Festival (6-16 February). Salvatores’ film was selected by Dieter Kosslick, the artistic director of this important festival and he broke the news in agreement with Italia Cinema even though the full programme will not be made public until 28 January.
Based on the eponymous novel by Niccolò Ammaniti and produced by Colorado Film and Cattleya , together with Medusa and co-produced by Alquimia Cinema (Spain) and The Producers Films (UK), Io non ho paura will be released in Italy by Medusa with the UK’s Capitol Films handling worldwide distribution.
