Deadline for submissions to LAIFA 2003


The due date for submissions of Italian and Italian-American short films (30’ max), feature films and documentaries on any subject to the 5th annual edition of the Los Angeles Italian Film Awards - Laifa is 31 January 2003 while the festival proper will unroll from 22-26 April 2003 in Los Angeles, California.
LAIFA is a singular festival whose aim is to build and consolidate the creative links between the Los Angeles and Italian filmmaking community and introduce American audiences to the best of recent Italian productions and their creators.
It is traditional for LAIFA to single out Italian and/or American filmmaking personalities who have distinguished themselves in their professional field of choice and past honorees include Gordon Mitchell, Enrico Lo Verso, Pietro Scalia, Brenda Vaccaro, Giorgio Moroder, Carlo Rambaldi, Dante Spinotti, Giancarlo Giannini, Franco Nero and Tony Renis.
