- One feature and one short by young Norwegian directors will have their world premieres at the prestigious German film event

Two Norwegian films were selected for the Berlin Film Festival (6-16 February). Jonny Vang by Jens Lien will be screened in the Panorama section. Lien, a former student at the London Film School, had two of his earlier short films selected for past editions of the Cannes Film Festival : Doren som ikke smakk (Shut the Door) in 2000 and Naturlige Briller (Natural Glasses) in 2001.
Houdinis Hund (Houdini’s Dog), a short film by Sara Johnsen will take part in the Short film competition. Last year, two Norwegian films were screened in Berlin: Oyenstikker (Dragonflies) by Marius Holst and Alt om min far (All About My Father).
