The UK-based Capitol Films, bought the worldwide sales rights (excluding Italy and Spain) to Gabriele Salvatores’ Io non ho paura [+see also:

film profile] (I’m Not Scared). The film will premiere in competition on 8 February at the forthcoming Berlin Film Festival (6-16 Feb).
The Italian language film will be released in Italy in March through Medusa Film and is based on the eponymous best-seller by Niccolo Ammaniti.
This is the second film produced by Cattleya picked up by Capital Films, after Franco Zeffirelli’s Callas Forever.
Capitol’s line up includes major titles like Ted & Sylvia with Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel Craig which just wrapped in New Zealand, Robert Altman’s The Company and Woody Allen’s new film, Anything Else, both of which are currently in post-production.
Capitol Films, headed by Jane Barclay and Sharon Harel, are scheduled to present a new version (aka “the Miramax Cut”) of the supernatural thriller entitled The Gathering, as well as a few other titles at the forthcoming American Film Market -AFM.
