Binger flies to Berlin

- Feature-length film of the seminars to screen at the Euro-pean Pitch Point, with 5 Binger students at the Talent Campus

A feature-length project that was filmed at Amsterdam’s Maurits Binger Film Institute is to screen at the Berlinale. An international jury selected The Thread, developed by Ronen Abas in the autumn of 2001, for screening during the European Pitch Point event that will open the Talent Campus. Five Binger students: Gustavo Moraes, Peter Muonagor, Nicky Newman, Doris Ng e Elliot Weiner were invited to take part in the Talent Campus.
The Binger is famous Dutch film school and the deadline for student submissions for the next semester, scheduled to run from 1 September to 30 January 2004, is 17 March 2003. The seminars will be taught by pre-eminent European filmmakers like Ken Loach, Robby Müller, George Sluizer, István Szabó and Agnieszka Holland.
