The co-production market that unspools during the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), CineMart, came to a close earlier this week, with two awards handed out to CineMart projects.

The Arte France Cinéma Award for Best CineMart Project, worth €10,000, went to Romanian/French co-production Touch Me Not from director Adina Pintilie.

Manekino Film and4 Proof Film from Romania and Atopic from France are production partners on the project that is described as “an investigation into our chronic longing for touch, for contact, on its multiple levels. A woman and two men in search of intimacy. Their solitudes meet – by chance or maybe they were supposed to – in a forlorn attempt at contact”.
