Fandango Portobello, the London-based sales company founded in 2008 by producers Domenico Procacci and Eric Abraham, has sold The Salt of Life [+see also:

to 13 countries, including France, Germany, the UK, Spain, Australia and Israel, and is wrapping negotiations with the US and Canada.

Written and directed by Gianni Di Gregorio, who also stars, the film screened in the Special section of the Berlinale to a very warm reception from audiences. It furthermore got favourable reviews from Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Screen International and The Guardian.
