MEDIA supports young filmmakers

After lending its support to the Talent Campus at the 53rd Berlin Film Festival, the EU’s MEDIA Programme, the next few months will see it organise a series of interesting initiatives to encourage cultural cooperation and exchange between Europe and the rest of the world.
500 young filmmakers from all over the world are taking part in the Talent Campus where they will work in close contact with some of the most famous filmmakers and industry technicians.
The MEDIA Programme feels that developing a global film industry is of “crucial importance to guarantee and strengthen diversity and cultural exchange, both of which are at the heart of Europe’s audiovisual policies.”
