Former Sony Pictures executive Dave Bishop is joining Revolver Entertainment as Head of Acquisitions.

Bishop was Sony’s UK Acquisitions Manager, later rising to Head of Acquisitions for Northern Europe in 2008. In 2009, he moved to Los Angeles as acting Vice President of Acquisitions for Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group.

While at Sony, Bishop was instrumental in acquiring Stuart Hazeldine’s Exam, Paddy Breathnach’s Shrooms [+see also:

film profile], amongst others. He also played a crucial part in getting Duncan Jones’ multiple award-winning Moon [+see also:
