Hungarian Film Week 2011 to go ahead
Forced to cancel its usual date at the start of February due to the severe financial crisis affecting the Hungarian film industry (see news), Hungarian Film Week, which every year showcases the best local productions, will hold its 42nd edition from May 5-8, 2011.
The selection committee has received submissions of 28 narrative features, 60 animated films, 95 shorts and 147 documentaries, among others.
The venues will change, for screenings will take place this year at the Urania National Film Palace, the Corvin, the Puskin and the Gödör Klub for the open-air screenings.
