Moya's "Porneographic" film financed by Internet users
Hotel Desire, the debut feature by young actor Sergej Moya (pictured), is now ready to start shooting in Berlin, after securing €170,000 in 80 days through crowd-funding (on the website http://hotel-desire.com/, where the film’s screenplay and information about the project and the team are still available).
The idea behind this so-called "porneographic" project is to fully render the beauty of sexuality, desire, intimacy, and spontaneity... Hotel Desire sets out to use elements of the porn genre without becoming a porn movie.
The film is produced by Sascha Schwingel for Teamworx, alongside Julia Moya and Christoph Zwickler for Von Fiessbach Film, the company they co-manage with the director.
This bedroom-hopping ensemble film stars Saralisa Volm, Anna Maria Mühe (daughter of Ulrich Mühe, recently seen in Crack in the Shell [+see also:
film profile] , in competition at Karlovy Vary), Clemens Schick (seen in The Burma Conspiracy [+see also:
film profile]), Herbert Knaup (Jerry Cotton, Bon Appétit [+see also:
film profile]), Frederick Lau (Picco [+see also:
interview: Philip Koch
film profile]), Trystan Pütter (Almanya – Welcome to Germany [+see also:
interview: Yasemin Samderely

Hotel Desire will be viewable on the Internet, which doesn’t rule out distribution on other formats.
