In its first weekend, the film garnered 342,070 admissions. In one week, it exceeded 0.5m viewers (557,922 admissions). Last weekend, it outstripped the performance by Paul W.S. Anderson’s enticing new release The Three Musketeers (released on September 1 by Constantin), with 249,000 admissions compared to 231,000.

What A Man, in which Schweighöfer plays a bland teacher who is replaced in his girlfriend’s affections by "a real guy" but is determined to become one himself, is currently in the Top 20 2011. The film also stars outstanding actress Sibel Kekilli (who rose to attention in Head-On [+see also:

The Schweighöfer news doesn’t end there: he will soon grace screens in Detlev Buck’s Woman In Love, alongside Alexandra Maria Lara (slated for release on December 15 by Universal) and Oliver Ziegenbalg’s Russian Disco (slated for release by Paramount on February 23, 2012).
