Three animated films revealed in EFA competition

The European Film Academy (EFA) has announced that a committee comprising producers Per Holst and Antonio Saura, both EFA Board Members, and Patrick Caradec and Thilo Rothkirch,of CARTOON - European Association of Animation Film, have selected the three titles vying for the best European animation film.

The nominated films are:

In the weeks ahead, the 2,500 EFA members will elect the winner, which will be announced at the 24th European Film Awards ceremony, in Berlin on 3 December.

The 45 pre-selected films competing in the other European Film Awards categories have already been revealed (see news). The final nominations will be announced on November 5 at the Seville European Film Festival in Spain.
