The annual cross-media forum Power To The Pixel (October 11-14) returns to the BFI London Film Festival showcasing the future of cross media.

The keenly anticipated Conference Summit kicks off the event with transmedia producer and Starlight Runnner CEO Jeff Gómez presenting the opening keynotes. Gómez, who’s worked on Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar and Halo, will be speaking in the UK for the first time.

The Conference will also cover the latest trends in audience behaviour, business models and case studies of successful cross-media projects.

The keenly anticipated Pixel Pitch Competition will showcase nine cross-media projects from across the world to industry decision-makers, commissioners and financiers including representatives from ARTE, BBC, Inside Xbox, Penguin, Orange, RTL and many more. Participants include Vibeke Windeløv, who has produced many of Lars von Trier's award-winning films and Adam Weber, frequent collaborator of Michel Gondry.

Keeping abreast of these events that are the harbingers of how the media world will look tomorrow are media partners Cineuropa, a representative of whom will be present at the events.

One of 2010’s keynote speakers has happy memories of the event. “The scope of Power to the Pixel was excellent, offering points of view that I've not heard at other conferences, and the international attendance gave me opportunities to meet potential partners and collaborators I otherwise might never have known,” said Mike Monello, Partner & ECD, Campfire and Co-Creator of The Blair Witch Project.
