). The theme of interracial love comes in fact to enrich the plot of this second chapter, which is again produced by Cattleya and directed by emerging filmmaker Alessio Maria Federici, and will be out on Italian screens from November 11 in 300 copies distributed by Universal.

) while being more predictable than usual, takes up the theme of encounters and potential clashes between Italians and immigrants from the first film and widens it to the sentimental dimension: womaniser Mattia (Argentero) falls in love with a young Egyptian girl (Akkari) without knowing that she is the daughter of his old partner in crime Kamal (Hassani Shapi). Not knowing how to act, he turns to his friend, who finds himself unwittingly giving advice on how to win over his daughter, of whom he is extremely jealous. That is how the two men’s ideological differences with regards to the role of women emerge, while the two prestigious new entries, Angela Finocchiaro and Vincenzo Salemme, play out a fun sub-plot.

"I’m in love with this character, a lazy builder, because he is essentially an alter ego of mine", states Argentero, former Big Brother contestant. "I come from a family of builders and I would probably have ended up like him had I not entered the entertainment world. I also love him because he discovers something I too discovered, the importance of doing something properly, with passion". And the handsome Turin-born actor ventures: "Lezioni di cioccolato aims at a trilogy". Not a remote hypothesis considering the words of producer Marco Chimenz: "Italian comedies have breathed life back into the market: we will continue down this road, it is important to keep finding new, topical and fun subjects".
