Lazio Region: €15m fund for cinema and audiovisual gets green light

Last Friday, the Lazio Regional Committee green-lighted the regulations enabling the use of the Regional Fund of €15m for cinema and audiovisual for 2011. It is the Italian regional fund with the largest budget.

The regulations provide for the granting of subsidies to those film and audiovisual productions, made in 2011, recognised as cultural products, which have spent at least 40% of their budget in the Lazio region. €10m will be earmarked for cinematic productions and €5m for audiovisual productions.
