Dismissed amid controversy after two years as delegate general of the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight (see news), Frédéric Boyer, current selector at the Les Arcs European Film Festival (whose third edition will take place from December 10-17) has been appointed artistic director of the Tribeca Film Festival. From next year onwards, he will combine this new post at the famous New York event with his current responsibilities at Les Arcs.
