Written by the director with Jean-Pol Fargeau, the screenplay tells the story of Céline, 11 years old, and Peter, 60 years old, and their “luminous escape” in his big red truck. She is far away from her desperate, incestuous father. He is far away from England and the sad memory of his wife and daughter. In a few days, and in very little words, Céline will experience her first real moments of childhood, with lightness, giddiness, and confidence. Peter is slowly approaching the last days of his life, and he gives them, like a sublime ageing angel, to this wounded child.

Produced by Christophe Audeguis and Charles-Marie Anthonioz for Love Streams Agnès B. Productions, Je m'appelle Hmmm… will be filmed until April 27 in Aquitaine, Poitou-Charentes, and around Paris. The production company is keeping its partners secret for the moment, to announce them at a later date.

Through Love Streams, Agnès b. has since 1998 produced or co-produced films by Gaspar Noé, Claire Denis, Patrice Chéreau, F.J. Ossang, Harmony Korine, Christoffer Boe (Everything Will Be Fine [+see also:
