was awarded at the Bologna Future Film Festival. The film, which was screened in competition at the 14th edition of the Bologna-based event and which comes out in Italian cinemas on May 30, distributed by Filmauro, won the Jury’s Special Mention.

Attack the Block is the striking directing debut by Joe Cornish, a popular British television and radio comedian as well as scriptwriter of The Adventures of Tintin for Steven Spielberg. The story of a gang of London kids wh, in only one night find themselves forced to defend their neighbourhood from an alien invasion, has been acclaimed by the critics as the most surprising and original blockbuster of the year and has become a cult film among young Brits.
