CANNES 2012 Un Certain Regard

Seventeen films from a globalised world

by

- Lafosse, Corsini, Verheyde, and the duo Delépine-Kervern are in the line-up of a surprising and very diverse selection.

From Canadian filmmaker Xavier Dolan (23 years old) to veteran Japanese director Koji Wakamatsu (76 years old), via Brandon Cronenberg (son of the more famous David Cronenberg)’s first feature film, the programme for Un Certain Regard, an integral part of the official selection at the 65th Cannes Film Festival (from May 16 to 27), is curious and intriguing. It will also include two African feature films and new films by Argentinian director Pablo Trapero and Chinese director Lou Ye, both previously awarded at the festival.
